Muara Port Company Sdn. Bhd. (“MPC”) celebrated the Mid-Autumn Festival on Monday, 24 September 2018 at MPC HQ Office. The Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as Mooncake Festival, is a harvest festival celebrated notably by the Chinese and Vietnamese people. The festival is one of the most important festivities in China and celebrated on 15th day of the 8th month of the Chinese lunar calendar. It is an evening celebration where families gather together to light lanterns, eat moon cakes and appreciate the round moon.

MPC held this celebration for the first time in her effort to introduce Chinese culture and festivities to the local employees.

The meeting room was decorated with lanterns and balloons to bring out the festive spirit.

The attendees were also presented with a short introductory presentation on Mid-Autumn Festival.
