On Monday, 2 July 2018, Muara Port Company Sdn. Bhd. (“MPC”), Darussalam Assets Sdn Bhd (“DA”)  and Maritime and Port Authority of Brunei Darussalam (“MPABD”)  signed the Asset Purchase Agreement and the Land Lease Agreement at Level 18, Ministry of Finance Building, Bandar Seri Begawan. Signing on behalf of DA was its Acting Chief Executive Officer, Yang Mulia Awang Haji Khairuddin bin Haji Abdul Hamid, signing on behalf of MPA was its Chief Executive, Yang Mulia Haji Salihin bin Haji Aspar and MPC was represented by its Chief Executive Officer, Yang Mulia Dai Chun Hui. Present as the Guests of Honour at the event were Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Paduka Dr Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah, Minister of Finance II, Yang Berhormat Awang Abdul Mutalib Bin Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Setia Dato Paduka Haji Mohd Yusof, Minister of Communications and Her Excellency, Madam Yang Jian, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Brunei Darussalam.
