Monday, 31 August 2026. Muara Port Company Sdn. Bhd. (MPC) warmly welcomed the arrival of Adora Magic City, under the command of Captain Wei Zhiyi, to Muara Port, Brunei Darussalam.

The arrival was marked by a traditional “Hadrah” performance, reflecting Brunei Darussalam’s rich cultural heritage and longstanding tradition of warm hospitality.

The welcoming ceremony was attended by MPC Chief Operating Officer, Yang Mulia Tuan Mohd Fazilah bin Hj Md Yassin, alongside Mr Chen Chuan, Minister Counselor and Deputy Chief of Mission of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China to Brunei Darussalam; Yang Mulia Haji Muhammad Safwan bin Abdullah Bibi, Acting Deputy Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI); Yang Mulia Kok Wan Yuet, Senior Assistant Chief Executive, Finance and Accounting Department of the Maritime and Port Authority of Brunei Darussalam (MPABD); senior government officials and representatives from METI and MPABD; as well as members of MPC’s senior management.

On behalf of MPC, YM Tuan Fazilah Yassin presented a token of appreciation to Mr David Su Kong Wong, Hotel Director of Adora Magic City, on behalf of Captain Wei Zhiyi, in recognition of the warm welcome extended to the crew and passengers of Adora Magic City during their visit to Brunei Darussalam.

The visit underscores the growing maritime and tourism linkages between Brunei Darussalam and the People’s Republic of China, while highlighting Muara Port’s role in supporting the country’s expanding cruise tourism and strengthening Brunei’s position as an attractive destination within the regional cruise network.
