On Friday December 8, 2023. About thirty-three delegations from Nanning Women’s Chamber of Commerce’s Business visited the Cruise Ship Centre of the Muara Port Company (MPC).

The delegations were led by the President of the Nanning Women’s Chamber of Commerce in Guangxi, China, Madam, Li Qiumei.

The purpose of the visit was to learn and understand the strategic cooperation between Guangxi enterprises along the belt and road strategic cooperation. Nanning Women's Chamber of Commerce and its members visited MPC also for an exchange of communication, seeking opportunities for trade in specialty products and industrial investment between Guangxi and Brunei.

The delegations witnessed the development of Muara Port from 1970 to the present day with primary focus on achievements and developments such as port throughput, operating income, and employment creation presented by CEO, Mr Zeng Caili.

Towards the end of the visit, the delegations had an exchange of appreciation gifts that represents the culture, and its symbolism value that is highly significant. The visit also concluded with a group photo session with the delegations and staff of MPC.
