Thursday, 20^th June 2024. The Pengiran Kasuma Negara (PKN) Bukit Beruang Primary School received wooden used pallets from the Muara Port Company (MPC) as a donation to support the Green Club of the school.

The school delegation led by senior administrative teacher, Ms Mazura binti Johari, followed fellow teachers in charge of the club.

Attending the ceremony were Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Mr Wei Jinfeng and Chief Operating Officer (COO), Fazilah Yassin.  

The school’s proactive initiatives are similar to MPC’s goal of achieving zero waste; thus, having to donate the used wooden pallets to support the school’s extracurricular activities and redecorate the environment with a beautiful garden is an honorable initiative.

The ceremony started off with a discussion of the green project and concluded with a handover certificate of appreciation presented by CEO to the school.

The donation was part of MPC’s ongoing efforts to support the education system in Brunei Darussalam by improving the learning system, starting from lower primary schools to higher learning institutions.

The company recognizes its corporate social responsibility and seeks to make a meaningful contribution not only to the community but to the upcoming generation.
