Friday 15^th March 2024, About 40 staff of Muara Port Company (MPC) led by Awang Fazilah Yassin, the Chief Operating Officer, held a recitation of Surah Yaasin and Tahlil for the late royal parents and son of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Al-Marhumah Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit and Al-Marhum Duli Yang Teramat Mulia Paduka Seri Pengiran Muda Haji ‘Abdul ‘Azim at the Royal Mausoleum in the capital.  

Deputy Minister of Finance and Economy (Economy) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Darussalam Assets (DA), cum Board member of MPC, Yang Mulia Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Khairuddin Bin Haji Abdul Hamid attended the event as the guest of honour.

The ceremony began with the mass recitation of Surah Yaasin followed by Tahlil led by Imam Nasehin bin Haji Yahya, Imam of Masjid Setia Ali Pekan Muara.

The ceremony is part of Muara Port Company to glorify Ramadhan and to strengthen relations between all staff from different departments.
