MPC organized its annual blood donation drive to aid the country’s shortage of blood supply
Monday 4th March 2023. The Muara Port Company organized its annual blood donation drive. The blood drive collected about 40 pints of blood at the Cruise Ship Centre in Muara Port.
The donation drive was in collaboration with the Blood Donation Center, RIPAS Hospital, and it is the company’s initiative and responsibility to organize corporate social responsibility to support the ever-growing need for the blood supply for the Blood Bank in Brunei Darussalam.
The drive was also raised to increase awareness of a lack of blood supply in the blood bank centre, RIPAS. MPC gathers the community to donate as a “gift of life” to people who desperately demand the blood,
MPC hopes to continue and demonstrate its commitment to be vigilant about its employees’ health and safety, to raise awareness and care for the environment, and to foster community involvement in various social programs and projects, in line with the company’s social responsibilities.
