Thursday, 28^th September 2023. Twenty-six staff of Muara Port Company led by the Chief Operating Officer, Fazilah Yassin, participated in a mass procession to mark Maulidur Rasul at the Taman Haji Sir Muda Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien in the capital on Thursday, September 28th 2023.

His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam graced the celebration themed ‘Sunnah Dihayati, Hidup Diberkati’.  Accompanying His Majesty were His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office, His Royal Highness Prince ‘Abdul Malik, His Royal Highness Prince ‘Abdul Mateen, His Royal Highness Prince Mohamed Bolkiah and His Royal Highness Prince Haji Jefri Bolkiah.

The annual gathering saw a ‘Dikir Marhaban’ performance and ‘Sayyidul Istighfar’ by officers and staff from Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Home Affairs and Religious Teachers University College of Seri Begawan (KUPUSB).  Twenty-one cannon shots echoed around the capital prior to the procession along major roads of the capital.

Begawan Pehin Khatib Dato Paduka Haji Mustafa bin Haji Murat led the recitation of ‘Selawat’ that signaled the start of procession.  The procession marks as the largest group to participate ever since the outbreak of Covid-19.
