From 28^th June to 2^nd July 2022, Muara Port Company Sdn. Bhd. (MPC) took part in the Economy Week of the Mid-Year Conference and Exhibition (MYCE) 2022, hosted by The Ministry of Finance and Economy at the International Conventional Centre (ICC), Berakas.

The event was attended by the Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Finance and Economy II, Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Dr Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah and Minister of Primary Resources and Tourism, Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Paduka Dr Haji Abdul Manaf bin Haji Metussin as the guests of honour.

After the launch, the guests of honour got to tour the exhibition booths and spoke with the exhibitors.  With the theme “Towards a Dynamic and Sustainable Economy”, MPC booth showcased its accomplishments, its plans and initiatives to transform Muara Port into a regional shipping centre and transit hub in the South East Asia region.  

MPC plays a key role in sustainable diversification of the nation’s economy outside oil and gas industry by continuously making significant and positive contributions to the development of the ports sector by providing increased connectivity, technological advancements, and high trade volume.
