Wednesday, 5^th July 2023. A total of twenty students from Kolej International Graduate Studies (Kolej IGS) visited Muara Port Company Sdn Bhd (MPC), to learn a thorough grasp of Information Technology (IT) in a professional setting.

The delegation was led by the Head Faculty of the IT department from Faculty of Information Technology (FIT), Ms Siti Nasyroh Md Nayan and four other IT lecturers. The college was welcomed by Chief Operation Officer (COO), Tuan Fazilah Yassin and a few other MPC management staff.

The visit aimed to expose Faculty of Information (FIT) students to the use of IT in a modern and professional setting as well as to allow the students to observe how MPC integrated its technology since its first establishment.

During the visit, the students were shown the development of MPC since it was first established at MPC Gallery HQ. Followed by Muara Conventional Terminal (MCVT) and Muara Container Terminal (MCT) to witness the operation system and digital procedures. At the end, the students conclude their visit to Muara International Fish Landing (MIFL) and observed how technology seamlessly integrated into various processes.

MPC continues to receive educational visits and hopes to provide a holistic and enriching educational experience. MPC believes that bridging the gap between classroom learning and practical implementation is important. MPC hopes the students of Kolej IGS gain necessary skills and knowledge and will be ready to step into the modern digital landscape industry.
