Friday, 29^th September 2023.  Muara Port Company (MPC) celebrated the Mid-Autumn festival or Mooncake festival at the Cruise Ship Centre (CSC).  The celebration aimed to enrich the staff’s understanding of the second most important Chinese festival and allow the staff to experience the cultural atmosphere.

The event started with a presentation on the origin of calligraphy, meaning as well as customs of the Mid-Autumn festival followed by a brief presentation by Chief Executive Officer, Mr Zeng Caili.

Present was the Commercial Counselors of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China, Mr Shi Rongke as the guest of the event.

To enliven the festival, MPC staff participated an activity challenge in Chinese calligraphy. There were also mini games organized and some prizes were won.

MPC continues its effort to foster the cultural exchange and respect the beautiful tradition, culture, and heritage.
