MPC’s Attendance at the Bimp-Eaga Maritime 2023 Exhibition and Conference

MPC recently attended the BIMP-EAGA Maritime 2023 Exhibition and Conference held at the JW Marriott Jakarta, Indonesia from 21 to 23 February 2023. The event was attended by Mr. Kevin Yang Jun, Manager of Marketing and Business Development, Ms. Zeti Reza Amin, Assistant Manager of Administration, and Mr. Andric Koh, Senior Supervisor of Marketing and Business Development.

On 21 February 2023, the delegation was brought to a technical site visit of the Tanjung Priok Port (NPCT1) followed by a tour of the Container Terminal and its facilities, which was arranged by PT Pelindo Indonesia. This visit provided valuable insights into the operations and infrastructure of one of Indonesia's busiest ports.

On 22 February, all delegates attended the conference and the opening of the exhibitions, which was officiated by the Minister of Transportation of Indonesia, The Honourable Budi Karya Sumardi. Brunei Darussalam was represented by the Brunei BIMP-EAGA Business Council and MPC, for a session on "Brunei's Leadership in Building an Impact Through Change and Transformation". MPC was represented by Ms. Zeti Reza Amin, who gave a presentation on the company's role in supporting the economic development of Brunei and the BIMP-EAGA region through the development of the Muara Port. The presentation highlighted MPC's business growth and commitment to providing high-quality port services and infrastructure, as well as its efforts to attract new investments and promote trade in the region, and its future port expansion. The session was well-received by the audience and provided an opportunity for MPC to showcase its achievements and future plans.
