Muara Port Company Donated for Brunei Covid-19 relief Fund as part of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) to assist the Brunei Government during the Covid-19 outbreak in the Sultanate.

Muara Port Company Sdn Bhd (“MPC”), a joint venture company between Darussalam Assets Sdn Bhd (“Darussalam Assets”) and Beibu Gulf Holding (Hong Kong) Co., is donating $50,000 to the Covid-19 relief fund.

The donation is part of MPC’s continued contribution and support to the Government’s efforts in curbing the spread of COVID-19. This is in addition to the recent announcement that MPC is waiving Port Charges for the importation of all cargo relating to medical supplies and equipment intended for MOH’s use to combat the COVID-19 outbreak.

In light of the pressing need for personal protective equipment (PPE) for frontline health care workers, MPC is extending its hand further by donating 10,000 surgical masks to the Ministry of Health. Mr. Zeng Caili, Chief Executive Officer highlighted that the company is committed in providing additional support where it is able to, in order to help MOH handle the pandemic.
