On 21^st September 2020, Muara Port Company Sdn Bhd (MPC) held a signing ceremony at the Cruise Ship Centre for the signing of a long-term Agreement with Brunei Shell Marketing Company Sendirian Berhad (BSM) for the supply of bunkering services at Muara Port.  

Present to witness the signing were representatives from MPC’s shareholders, Yang Mulia, Awang Lyu Guoli, the CFO of Beibu Gulf Holding (HK) Co. Ltd and Yang Mulia, Awang Johan Bin Dato Paduka Dr Hj Johar, Investment Manager at Darussalam Assets, joined by Yang Mulia, Awang Mohd Fazilah Bin Hj Mohd Yassin, the Chief Operating Officer of MPC, and Yang Mulia, Awang Hj Hairul Radzi Bin Shahri, Supply  & Distribution Manager, Brunei Shell Marketing.

The MPC signatories were Yang Mulia, Awang Zhong Kunyu, Director of Marketing & Business Development and Yang Mulia Awang Md Akmal Hanis Bin Hj Jefri, Director of Strategic Management.  The BSM signatories were Yang Mulia, Dayang Hjh Rozalina Bte Hj C A Mohamed, Sales and Marketing Manager and Yang Mulia, Dayang Suzelawati Haji Radin, Head of Commercial.

This collaboration marks a big milestone for the Port Industry in Brunei Darussalam, where Bunkering can be offered and further developed at Muara Port.  Through this synergistic relationship, MPC and BSM aims for the number of ships calling to Muara Port to increase which, will then contribute to the economy of Brunei Darussalam.
