Tuesday, 14 October 2025. Muara Port Company Sdn. Bhd. (MPC) proudly participated in the IBTE Job Fair, held at the International Convention Centre (ICC), Berakas, as part of Pesta Konvo IBTE 2025. The event brought together students, including 341 graduates from IBTE, and jobseekers eager to explore career opportunities with leading employers in Brunei.

The job fair was officiated by Yang Mulia Awang Radin Sufri bin Radin Basuni, Chief Executive Officer of Datastream Digital Sendirian Berhad and Member of the IBTE Board of Governors.  Also present was Dr Hj Mohd Zamri bin Hj Sabli, Chief Executive Officer and Director of Technical Education, who continues to play a key role in fostering partnerships between industry and technical education providers.

As part of its strategic commitment to national workforce development, MPC engaged directly with youth and graduates, promoting diverse career opportunities in the maritime and logistics sectors. These include roles in port operations, engineering, supply chain management, and administration critical areas supporting Brunei’s ambitions in regional trade and infrastructure.

MPC’s involvement is closely aligned with its preparations for the upcoming Port Expansion Project 2027, which will create new employment opportunities and demand for skilled local talent. Throughout the event, MPC received more than 50 curriculum vitaes from interested jobseekers reflecting strong interest among Bruneians in contributing to the growth of the maritime sector.

MPC’s active participation reinforces its role in bridging the gap between education and industry, while supporting Brunei’s long-term economic goals. By connecting with the next generation of professionals, MPC is helping build a future-ready workforce equipped to lead in the maritime and logistics sectors.
