Tuesday, 25^th March 2025 – Muara Port Company Sdn. Bhd. (MPC) held its annual charity drive, Ihsan Kasih, supporting six socio-economically challenged families from Tanah Jambu, Lumapas, and Kota Batu. The initiative is part of MPC's ongoing corporate social responsibility efforts.

The charity drive, held in conjunction with the holy month of Ramadan, aims to assist local families and ease their financial strain during the month of fasting and the upcoming Aidilfitri festival. The list of beneficiary families was provided by the Ministry of Religious Affairs under the Zakat, Waqaf, and Baithumal division.

A delegation of 10 MPC staff members, led by Chief Operating Officer, Fazilah Yassin, along with middle management, participated in distributing food packages and essential items to the families.

MPC reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the community through various social programs, while promoting values of generosity and kindness among its staff and management.

During the blessed month of Ramadan, MPC believes in doing good deeds, which is a core principle of this time of reflection and charity. The corporation continues to embody the spirit of giving, ensuring that the most vulnerable families receive support, helping them to thrive during this special period.
