Monday, 9 March 2026. A total of 60 staff members from Muara Port Company Sdn. Bhd. (MPC), Muara International Fish Landing Sdn. Bhd. (MIFL), and Darussalam Pilotage Services Sdn. Bhd. (DPS) gathered at the Royal Mausoleum to attend a recitation of Surah Yassin and Tahlil in remembrance of the late royal parents and son of His Majesty, Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa‘adul Khairi Waddien, Al-Marhumah Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit, and Al-Marhum Duli Yang Teramat Mulia Paduka Seri Pengiran Muda Haji ‘Abdul ‘Azim.

The ceremony commenced with a collective recitation of Surah Yassin, followed by the Tahlil prayer, which was led by Yang Mulia, Tuan Imam Awang Nasehin bin Haji Yahya, Imam of Masjid Setia Ali, Pekan Muara.

Representing MPC was Chief Operating Officer, Yang Mulia Tuan Fazilah Yaasin, while MIFL was represented by its Director of Operations, Yang Mulia Muhd Jumkhairun Bin Haji Jumat. Also present was Yang Mulia Tuan Nor Ariffin Hj Mohd Ali, Acting General Manager, DPS.

The ceremony was held as part of MPC’s Ramadhan observances, providing an opportunity for staff to come together in remembrance and reflection, while fostering a spirit of togetherness and strengthening inter-departmental ties. Such initiatives also reflect MPC’s emphasis on nurturing shared values, mutual respect, and a sense of collective responsibility among its workforce.
