
Primary school from Haji Tarif primary school Experience an Educational Visit to Muara Port Company
Wednesday, 13th November 2024. Muara Port Company Sdn. Bhd. (MPC) welcomed 70 students from Haji Tarif Primary School, ranging from preschool to Primary 6, for an engaging educational visit at the MPC Cruise Ship Centre (CSC). The event aimed to introduce the young learners to the port industry through interactive and fun activities.
The visit featured a range of activities designed to spark curiosity and promote hands-on learning. Students participated in games such as Spot the Difference and Mix and Match, while a lively question-and-answer session kept them engaged. A coloring contest was also held, offering students the chance to express their creativity while learning about the operations of the port and the logistics sector.
The event provided students with a unique opportunity to explore the port facilities, including the Muara International Fish Landing (MIFL), which is operated by MPC. During the guided tour, students learned about the essential role of the port in Brunei’s economy and international trade.
At the end of the visit, MPC’s Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Wei Jinfeng, had the honor of presenting prizes to the top five winners of the day’s competitions. The visit was a resounding success, leaving the students excited and motivated by their achievements.
