Muara Port Company (MPC) presents its first MPC Meritorious Award to Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB) student who have excelled in their studies during the UTB Graduates’ Congratulatory Ceremony at the Main Conference Hall, International Convention Centre (ICC), Berakas.

Dayangku Nursyarah Waznah binti Pengiran Haji Suhaili, a graduate with First Class Honours in Bachelor of Business (Honours) in Finance and Risk Management, was the recipient of MPC Meritorious Award, Outstanding Life Skill Achiever, and People’s Choice Award for UTB Project Showcase 2023.

Presented the award was the Guest of Honour, Yang Berhormat Datin Seri Setia Dr. Hajah Romaizah binti Hj Md Salleh, Minister of Education, Brunei Darussalam.  The  Chief Operating Officer, Fazilah Yassin and Human Resource Manager, Hajah Azian Haji Mohammad were also present at the ceremony.

The esteemed award is given to extraordinary final year student from UTB School of Business who has showcased exceptional academic ability, exemplary leadership abilities and a commendable dedication to balancing their academic pursuits with active participation in extra-curricular activities.

MPC believes in the importance of human capacity development to improve an individual’s knowledge, skills, technical expertise, and ability to adapt and be resilient to policy and leadership changes.

The company also believes the award is extremely beneficial not only to the awardees of this year, but it can also serve as aspiration for other students who are still studying and striving for success.
