The visit aimed to understand how theory learnt in class are related to the real world, to expose the students the employment opportunities that require necessary skills and knowledge of operations management, hence instill the students with analytical thinking on how theory informs practice and vice versa.
During the visit, the students have the opportunity to view the MPC Gallery at HQ where it showcases the development of MPC since its first established and followed by the site visit around the Muara Conventional Terminal (MCVT) and Muara Container Terminal (MCT) to witness the operation system and digital procedures. At the end, the students conclude their visit to the warehouse to observe the new technology to store the production of rice and sugar.
MPC continues to receive educational visits and hopes to provide a holistic and enriching educational experience.
