On 5^th of August 2022 , a delegation from Muara Port Company (MPC) led by the Chief Operating Officer, Fazilah Yassin, paid a working visit to Sapangar Bay Container Port, hosted by Sabah Ports at Wisma Sabah.  Also attended were the Deputy Chief of Maritime and Port Authority Brunei Darussalam (MPABD), Awang Bahreen bin Dato Haji Hamzah, and its Manager, Awang Hj Khairul Zaman bin Hj Abd Jalil.  The delegation was greeted warmly by the Sabah Port Management led by Siti Noraishah Azizan, the General Manager of Corporate Services.  

The objective of the trip was to strengthen the relationship between the two ports by exchanging ideas, SOP (Standard of Practice) as well as challenges in port activities.

After a group photo, the visit began with a welcoming remark by the Siti Noraishah Azizan followed by presentation by Mr Peter George Mathew Jr., Assistant Manager (Business Development and Commercial)   on the overview of Sabah Ports.  In his presentation, he outlined on Sabah port current business challenges, its role in BIMP-EAGA as well as its strategic initiatives.   After tri-party memento presentation, the visit concluded when the group was ushered to the Executive Lounge area to view the Sapangar Bay Container Terminal.
