MPC has been licensed by Brunei government and has been lawful to operate Muara port (including container terminal and conventional terminal).
MPC officially took over the whole operation and management of Muara Port.
Muara Port Company, Darussalam Assets and Maritime and Port Authority Brunei Darussalam signed the Asset Purchase Agreement andt at Level 18, Ministry of Finance Building, Bandar Seri Begawan.
Terminal Operation Processing System is a management system developed with features of international container terminal. It will optimize and standardize the whole operation process at the terminal.

On 12th September, MPC participate in the 14th CAExpo, to present the company to the entire China-ASEAN region.
On July 2017, MPC introduced the new equipment and Finance IT System to input more intelligent elements and upgrade the services to the terminal
On 6th May, during the same event of CAEXPO-Brunei Exhibition and 1st MSME innovation conference, Crown Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah Ibni Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah, GCVO, Brunei Darussalam visited MPC's booth.
On 4th May, MPC participated in the CA Expo-Brunei Exhibition and 1st MSME innovation conference. Chen Wu, Chairman of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China, and the delegation visited MPC's booth during the Expo.
On 2nd May 2017, Chen Wu, Chairman of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and the delegation visited MPC.
On 22nd February, MPC successfully finished the operation of the first vessel "Sun Express" after the takeover.
On 21st February, MPC officially took over the operation of Muara Port Container Terminal.
On 20th February, the first meeting of the Board of Directors was held.
On 15th February, Muara Port Company Sdn Bhd was officially registered.
