MPC was invited to present during the Forum as an example of a success story in BIMP-EAGA. Hanis Jefri from the Strategic Management Office, presented on behalf of MPC. In the presentation, it was highlighted that MPC was established within a short time (six months) and the key to the success of the establishment of MPC was the commitment made by the two shareholders backed with the great support and assistance from the government agencies such as FDI Action and Support Centre, BEDB, Prime Minister’s Office, Ministry of Finance and Economy, Ministry of Communications, and Maritime and Port Authority. The presentation also touched on MPC’s key achievements and milestones as well as future strategies to unlock Muara Port’s potential as an international hub.
