Maritime and Port Authority (“MPA”) dialogue session to announce reduction of store rent free days at the Muara Container Terminal (“MCT”)
MPA held a dialogue session with all Muara Port stakeholders such as members of the Brunei Freight Forwarders Association, members of Shipping Association Brunei Darussalam and relevant government agencies on their decision to end their trial period for free storage period of 5 days and reverted back to 2 days effective on 1st December 2018. The 2 days free storage period is line with government’s effort to improve ease of doing business and encourage port efficiency.
