On Sunday, 11th February 2018, Japan’s Foreign Minister, His Excellency Mr. Taro Kano, along with officers from the Embassy of Japan in Brunei, visited the Muara Container Terminal Quayside. During this visit, Japan’s Ambassador to Brunei, His Excellency Mr. Motohiko Kato, briefed the Foreign Minister on the Container Terminal using information provided by MPC. Officers and Associates from MPA and Darussalam Assets Sdn Bhd (“DA”) were also present during the visit to the quayside. His Excellency Mr. Taro Kano’s visit to the Container Terminal was brief and was followed up with a tour of the Japanese Naval Vessels that were docked at the Conventional Terminal.
