Strategic Location of Muara Port
Muara Port is positioned by the northeastern coast of the entrance of Brunei Bay at the Southeast of the South China Sea. Muara Port is a semi-diurnal tide port, with an average tidal range of 1.2m. It has average temperature of 28 °C, and an average annual rainfall of about 3000mm. Built in the year 1973 as a deep water port, Muara Port is Brunei’s largest port, and also the main international gateway for trade of Brunei.
